Silvio Dutz

Silvio Dutz obtained the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering and got the Ph.D. degree in materials science. Dr. Dutz serves as a Scientist at the Department of Nanobiophotonics, IPHT Jena, Germany. Dr. Dutz' areas of expertise include magnetic nanoparticles (synthesis, characterization, etc.), medical applications of magnetic nanoparticles (hyperthermia, drug targeting, imaging, etc.), size-dependent fractionation of nanoparticles (magnetic and microfluidic methods, etc.), instrumentation for hyperthermia, and magnetic measurements and interpretation of nanomagnetism.
