Leena Ukkonen

Tampere University of Technology, Finland

Leena Ukkonen received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Tampere University of Technology (TUT), Tampere, Finland, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. She is currently leading the RFID Research Group at Rauma Research Unit, TUT Department of Electronics. She has authored about 100 scientific publications in the fields of RFID antenna design and industrial RFID applications. Her research interests are focused on RFID antenna development for tags, readers, and RFID sensors.
