Milan Melnik graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava, Bratislava, Slovakia and obtained his Ph.D. and D.S. degrees from Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava, Slovakia. His main research interests concern the coordination and biocoordination chemistry of the transition and main group elements. His research focused on the development of new drugs on the basis of copper complex, antirheumatics, and antituberculotics, with bioactive ligands. He has (co)authored 59 scientific monographs over 350 scientific papers. He is a member of various universities and leader scientist of many research projects.
