Chin-Shang Li received his Ph.D. degree in statistics from the Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, in 1997. He works as a Professor at the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of California, Davis, CA, USA. Li serves as a Member of the American Statistical Association, International Chinese Statistical Association, and Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Statistics and Probability and as a Statistician Member of the Special Methodology Panel of the Journal of General Internal Medicine. His areas of expertise include lack-of-fit tests, cure models (including survival analysis), semiparametric and nonparametric regression, generalized linear models, zero-inflated count data analysis, and large-sample theory.
