Ján Kliment

Ján Kliment was born in Slovakia, in 1946. He received his medical degree from the School of Medicine, Comenius University, in Bratislava, Slovakia. He completed his residency in urology at the Postgraduate Medical Institute in Bratislava. He gained international experience in urology during his numerous visits to the urological departments in Prague, Athens, Nijmegen, Munich, London, and Genoa. His principal fields of interest in urology include uroncology, particularly prostate cancer. He has participated in many clinical trials in this research area. Kliment has published many papers and book chapters, mainly in Slovak language. He is the Editor of Klinická Urológia, Slovak urological journal. He is the Head of the Department of Urology, University Hospital, Jessenius School of Medicine, Comenius University in Martin, Slovakia. He is also a Member of EAU, EBU, EORTC, and others
