Diego Oyarzún

User Biography : Mr Diego Oyarzún Diego Oyarzún was born in Valdivia, Chile, in 1982. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronic engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM), Valparaiso, Chile, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. During 2006, he was employed as a Research Assistant at UTFSM and since 2007 he is working towards the Ph.D. degree with the Systems Biology group at the Hamilton Institute, National University of Ireland, Maynooth. His main research interests include the understanding of biological processes through dynamical systems and control theoretical analysis, optimal control theory, metabolic and signal transduction pathway modelling, and multivariate control theory.
