William Davies

William Davies obtained the M.S. degree in biochemistry at the University of Bath, Bath, UK (1995-1999), before receiving a Ph.D. degree in behavioral neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK (1999-2003). He then worked as a Postdoc at the Babraham Institute, Cambridge, UK until 2006 when he moved to the Cardiff University, Cardiff, UK as a Wellcome Trust "Value in People" Fellow. In 2007, he was appointed as a Research Councils UK Fellow at the Cardiff University and began establishing his own research group. His research is focused on how sex-linked and imprinted genes influence brain development and behavior and how mutation/variation in such genes may affect vulnerability to neuropsychiatric disorders.
