Ravhi S. Kumar
Ravhi S. Kumar received the Ph.D. degree in high-pressure physics from Anna University, India, in 1999. He has worked in several areas of condensed-matter physics which include structural, electronic, and transport properties of high Tc-superconductors, iron pnictides, thermoelectrics, strongly correlated electron systems, and hydrogen storage materials. He serves as a Co-PI for UNLV DOE Nevada Stockpile Stewardship program and is a corecipient of UNLV President's Research Award. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the High Pressure Science and Engineering Center, University of Nevada Las Vegas, USA. He is also a Member of Sigma Xi and American Physical Society. He has published more than 62 peer-reviewed articles in highly reputed international journals and presented in 80 international or national conferences.
