Kong-Wei Cheng

Kong-Wei Cheng received B.S. degree in 1996 from Department of Chemical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan and PhD degree in chemical engineering from National Taiwan University in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, he joined Energy and Environmental Lab. Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan as a researcher and the project leader on the solar energy conversion project. During the period of the research in ITRI, he was one author of 8 Taiwan and US patents.Since 2006, he joined the faculty at Chang Gung University as associate professor. His main research interests and working experiences focused on preparation and characterization of semiconductor film electrode, thin film solar cells, thermodynamic and phase equilibria. He serve as the reviewer for the SCI journals such as materials chemistyr&physics, Int. J Hydrogen energy, Thin soild films, Chemistry of materials,Journal of Hazardous Materials,Applied Surface Science,Materials Research Bulletin,Journal of Alloys and Compounds . In 2009, he got the Outstanding Journal Paper Award,which was provided by Journal of Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers.Dr. Cheng has been authored and co-authored more than 40 international journals and 12 patents related to metal sulfide photo-electrode technology.
