Susan C. Barnett
0000-0003-1009-0575Susan C. Barnett received her B.S. degree (Honors) in biochemistry from the University of Sheffield, UK, and her Ph.D. degree in biology of metastasis from the Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton, University of Londonm, UK. She is a Visiting Fogarty Fellow, NIH, NIC, Md, USA. She studied the biology of oligodendrocytes lineage and then started her own group at the University of Glasgow concentrating on the strategies for CNS repair with expertise on oligodendrocyte differentiation and proliferation, olfactory ensheathing cells, transplant strategies for CNS repair, in vitro assessment of myelination and Schwann cell, and astrocyte biology and interactions.
