Diego A. Wisniacki

Diego A. Wisniacki was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina). He received his Ph.D. degree in physics in 2000 from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After that, he worked as a Postdoc in the TANDAR Laboratory of the National Commission for Atomic Energy (CNEA), Argentina, from 2000 to 2003 and the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain, from 2003 to 2004. Since 2004 he holds a stable Researcher position (CONICET, Argentina) and since 2011 Wisniacki serves as a Professor in the Physics Department at the University of Buenos Aires. His main research interests include the fields of quantum chaos, semiclassical physics, and quantum open systems.
