Xiao-Jun Yang works as an Engineer in the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics, China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China; as Fellow of the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Qujing Normal University, Qujing, China, during 2013–2015; and as Research Assistant at the Institute of Software Science, Zhengzhou Normal University, Zhengzhou, China, during 2012-2013. Yang had obtained the B.S. degree from Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 2006; the M.S. degree in CUMT in 2009; and the Ph.D. degree in CUMT in 2014. Yang has also been a Member of the Institute for Chinese Institute of Electronics, a Member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, a Member of The Institute for Fractal Research in Germany, and a Life Member of the Chinese Physical Society. Yang's research interests are local fractional calculus, ODEs and PDEs, analytical approximate and numerical solutions, Fourier analysis (integral transforms and applications), nonlinear dynamics, wavelet, signal processing, and mathematical physics. Yang serves as an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Applied Mathematics (0.834), Abstract and Applied Analysis (impact factor 1.102) (Guest Editor), Advances in Mathematical Physics (impact factor 0.459) (Guest Editor), and other journals. Yang has published two books and two chapters, Springer, as well as 45 ISI papers, and serves as a Reviewer of 31 ISI journals.
