Jeffrey Kleim received his Ph.D. degree in psychology from the University of Illinois, Ill, USA, in 1997. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. His work examines the neural substrates underlying motor recovery after stroke using both animal models and human stroke patient populations. He is funded by several national funding agencies to conduct research examining neural plasticity and recovery of function after CNS injury in both animal models and human patients.
