Shailesh S. Kulkarni

Shailesh Kulkarni is an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences in the ITDS Department at the University of North Texas (UNT). He received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University Cincinnati. Professor Kulkarni's research interests are in the areas of Supply Chain Networks and Stochastic Modeling and Analysis. His research has been published in Production and Operations Management, IIE Transactions and the European Journal of Operational Research among other journals. In 2004, he was awarded the Professional Development Institutue (PDI) Fellowship at UNT in recognition of his research contributions. In 2009, he won the inaugural College of Business Innovation in Teaching Award. He currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Sponsorship for the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS).
