S. Stevens Negus

S. Stevens Negus received his Ph.D. degree in neurobiology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, USA, in 1990. He held faculty positions at the Department of Pharmacology, the University of Michigan, Mich, USA, (1991–1993) and at the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, Mass, USA(1993–2007) before working as a Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, Virginia Commonwealth University, Va, USA, in 2007. He has more than 140 publications on topics that focus primarily on the behavioral pharmacology of drug abuse and analgesia. He serves on the editorial board of four pharmacology journals.
