Sang Hag Lee

Sang Hag Lee was born on September 3, 1957, in Gangwon, Korea. He received a Ph.D. degree in otolaryngology from Korea University, 1991, an M.A. degree in otolaryngology at Korea University, 1985, a B.S. degree from the Medical School, Korea University, 1982, and he graduated from Chun Cheon High School, 1976. He served as a professor at Korea University Anam Hospital, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, September, since 1999. From 1994 till 199, he served as an Associate Professor at Korea University Anam Hospital, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Besides, he worked as a Research Associate at Niigata University, Department of Histology from September, 1994 till August, 1995, in Japan. From May, 1989 till August, 1994, he held the position of an Assistant Professor at Korea University Ansan Hospital, Kuro Hospital, Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His research areas include cancer biology in the field of inverted papilloma and nasal cavity malignancy; the pathogenesis of nasal polyp formation and edematous nasal mucosa; the evaluation of pathogenetic factor in nasal allergy; protective factors and remodelling in chronic rhinosinusitis. He is a Member of the Korean Otolaryngology Society, the Korean Rhinological Society, the International Rhinological Society, and the Korean Society of Allergy and Asthma and Immunology.
