Frankie Leung is the Chief of Service of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, the University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Hospital, and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He is currently the chair of the AO Trauma global research commission. Dr. Leung has published extensively in the area of fracture management. His main research interests are mainly fragility fractures especially hip and distal radius fractures. He has extensive experiences in the development and use of modern orthopaedic implants in fracture treatment and has been invited worldwide to deliver keynote lectures and talks on related topics. Dr. Leung is also actively involved in international orthopaedic associations and is currently the National Delegate for Hong Kong in the SICOT and Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association.
