Piyush Trivedi

Piyush Trivedi was born in September 1958 at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. He graduated in pharmacy from Indore University in 1979. He obtained his postgraduate degree in pharmacy (M. Pharm.) from Sagar University in 1981 and started his career in teaching from Holkar Science College, Indore. In the year 2003, he was the Founder Head of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and is currently the Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, the University of Technology of Madhya Pradesh. Professor Trivedi has over 30 years of experience of teaching, research, and administration at various levels. In his glorious career as a teacher, besides teaching at UG and PG levels, Professor Trivedi has made significant contributions in the area of anticancer and antidiabetic drug design and discovery. He has mentored 9 Ph.D. scholars and published over 80 research papers in journals of international repute.
