Roland D. Shytle
R. Douglas Shytle is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience at the Center of Excellence for Aging and Brain Repair and the Archie A. Silver Child Development Center at the University of South Florida Health Sciences Center. Dr. Shytle has published numerous papers in the area of translational neuroscience, most recently on the anti-inflammatory and therapeutic properties of plant polyphenols for Alzheimer's disease. He also coinvented TC-5214, a novel adjunct for treatment resistant depression currently being developed by Targacept, Inc.
