Gisele Mophou earned a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the Université des Antilles et de la Guyane, Fort de France, Martinique. Then she joined the faculty as a Lecturer in 2000. She strived all the way to become Full Professor in 2013. Her research areas include partial differential equations, fractional differential equation, control, and the theory of almost periodic and almost automorphic functions. Professor Mophou is Coorganizer of several special sessions of international conferences. Mophou authored over 40 research publications in the areas of partial differential equations, fractional differential equation, control theory, and the theory of almost periodic and almost automorphic functions. She is an African Academic of Sciences Fellow, Associate Editor of the Journal of Nonlinear Evolution Equations and Applications, and a Member of the Editorial Board of four more journals.
