Xiaoyan Leng holds the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Public Health Sciences, Department of Biostatistical Sciences, Wake Forest School of Medicine, Nc, USA. Dr. Leng’s recent methodology research focuses on weighted bootstrap and functional (curve) data analysis, including discriminant/clustering analysis based on functional principal components, time-ordering of curves, and functional regression. Dr. Leng is a Coinvestigator of Biostatistics and Data Management Core of Claude D. Pepper Older American Independence Center at Wake Forest University (PI: Kritchevsky) and has abundant experience on statistical analysis and data management of gerontology and geriatrics projects, especially in the area of physical function, physical performance, cognitive function, body composition, biomarkers, and comorbidity data.
