Tamal Banerjee

Tamal Banerjee earned his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, India, in 2006. Subsequently, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati, India, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. He has published over 40 papers in reputed peer-reviewed Journals. He was awarded the Indo-US Fellowship in Engineering Sciences in 2011 and he currently serves as the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Biotechnology, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (IJBCEE). He has been a Supplemental Faculty in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, University of Delaware, Newark, Del, USA, from July 2011 to June 2012. His interests primarily include in the thermodynamic and phase equilibria properties of ionic liquid systems. Banerjee currently works as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
