Darius M. Moshfeghi
Darius M. Moshfeghi has got an M.D. degree. He works as an Associate Professor of ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, Calif, USA. He serves as the Director of the Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program, Director of Pediatric Retinal Disease & Surgery, and the Director of Telemedicine in the Department of Ophthalmology. Additionally, he is the Founder and Director of the Stanford University Network for Diagnosis of Retinopathy of Prematurity (SUNDROP). SUNDROP is a community-based outreach initiative to provide screening services for ROP to underserved neonatal intensive care units. Now, in its 6th year, SUNDROP has demonstrated a 100% sensitivity and 99.5% specificity for the identification of treatment-warranted ROP and is the largest academic telemedicine screening program for ROP in North America.
