Nittaya Tamaekong received the B.S. degree with first class honors from Maejo University in 2006 in chemistry and the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Chiang Mai University in 2011. Currently, Tamaekong is a Staff Member at Program in Materials Science, Faculty of Science, Maejo University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Tamaekong’s research program focuses on nanoscience and nanotechnology, the fundamentals of physical and chemical synthesis of metal oxide and metal-ceramic nanoparticles and their applications in nanocomposites, and the development of novel nanomaterials in selective bio- and chemical-gas sensing for environmental monitoring.
