Soumya Pandit received the B.S., M.S., and M.Tech degrees from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India in 1998, 2000, and 2002, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. degree in the year 2009 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. His dissertation contributed an optimization-based methodology for high-level design of analog systems. His research interest includes design automation of nanoscale CMOS analog circuits, statistical modeling, and optimization of analog circuits and nanoscale device modeling and simulation. Dr. Pandit served as project leader in a number of sponsored projects related to CMOS analog circuit design. He joined the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta in the year 2008 as Assistant Professor. He is the Teacher-in-Charge of the IC Design Laboratory of the institute. He is currently the principal investigator of several research projects related to his research area. Dr. Pandit has to his credit a number of international journal and conference publications. Dr. Pandit is a Member of IEEE (USA). His name has been included in Marquis Who's Who in the World, 2010 Edition.
