Libo Liu

Libo Liu was born in Hunan, China, in 1970. He received the B.S. degree in 1992 from the Department of Physics, Hunan Normal University, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Space Physics, Wuhan University, in 1997. Since 1997, he serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and became a Researcher from 1999 to 2002. Presently, he works as a Professor at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, CAS. His field of interest is ionospheric physics, mainly ionospheric modeling and the study of the ionospheric climatology and weather, especially the variations related to the ionospheric climatology and weather, with the aid of data and model. He is a Member of the Editorial Committee of Chinese Science Bulletin and Chinese Journal of Space Science. He has published more than 120 articles.
