Joseph Wang is a Professor of nanogineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He also serves as the Chief Editor of Electroanalysis. Dr. Wang obtained his higher education at Israel Institute of Technology (Haifa), and received his D.S. degree in 1978. From 1978 to 1980, he served as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin (Madison); between 1980 and 2004 he was a Member of the Chemistry Department at NMSU, where he held a position as a Regents Professor and a Manasse Chair between 2001 and 2004; and between 2004 and 2008 he served as the Director of the Center for Bioelectronics and Biosnesors and as a Professor of chemical engineering and chemistry at Arizona State University. He authored over 750 research papers, 10 books, 12 patents, and 35 chapters.
