I am a medical doctor specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 2007, I obtained a PhD in Neuroscience at Lyon University, France under the supervision of Prs Yves Rossetti and Gilles Rode. I studied the neural mechanisms by which prism adaptation improves visuo-spatial neglect. Current position : Head of a department of neurological rehabilitation at the university hospital of Lyon, France. My research involves attempts to understand how brain plasticity can be modulated to remediate neurological impairments following brain damages with an emphasis on visuo-spatial neglect, hemiplegia and conscious disorders after coma. This research implicates clinical assessments, kinematic analysis, neurophysiology and functional imaging tools as well as therapeutic interventions such as prism adaptation, constraint induced movement therapy, musicotherapy, non invasive cerebral stimulation, deep brain stimulation, pharmacotherapy …
