Elif N. Ozmert
Elif N. Ozmert was born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1965. She received her M.D. degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. Thereafter, she started her residency in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Pediatrics where she worked as Chief Resident between 1992-1993. She received her Ph.D. degree in social pediatrics from Hacettepe University Institute of Child Health in 2000. She was assigned as Assistant Professor at the same institution between 1996-1997. She became Associate Professor in 1997 and worked at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics between 1997-2003. Since 2003, she is working as Professor of pediatrics in Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. She is also staff of Hacettepe University, Department of Medical Education since 2001. She worked as the President of Hacettepe University Quality Office, Quality Improvement Team Executive Committee between 2003-2007. She has been the Vice Director of Hacettepe University Institute of Child Health since 2004 and Associate Dean of Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine since 2009. She is in the editorial board of several national journals as well as reviewer of several national and international journals. She works in the field of social pediatrics. Her topics of special interest are growth, development, environment, nutrition, vaccines, and diarrhea.
