Tone Morken serves as a Researcher at Uni Health, Bergen and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Health and Primary Health Care, University of Bergen. She was educated as a Physiotherapist in Bergen 1981 and received a M.S. degree in physiotherapy science in 1997 and the Ph.D. degree from University of Bergen in 2003. Her research has focused on epidemiology and interventions on work-related musculoskeletal disorders, sickness absence, occupational violence, intimate partner violence, and health services research in out of hours primary health care. Morken is the Project Leader of the National Register of out of hours services in primary health care in Norway.
