Hung Lin Fu

Hung Lin Fu was born in 1950, in Taipei, Taiwan. He received his B.S. degree, in 1973, in mathematics from the National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan. In 1980, he received his Ph.D. degree in mathematics, majored in combinatorics, from Auburn University, Auburn, Ala, USA. His research interests include graph theory, combinatorial designs, and their applications which include coding theory and computational molecular biology. Since 1988, he has been working as a Fellow of the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications, Winnipeg, MB, Canada, and a Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
