Rosa María De La Cruz
Rosa María De La Cruz is Associate Professor at Physics department of Carlos III University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain since 1998. She received her degree in physics and the Ph.D. degree from Complutense University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain in 1986 and 1990, respectively. She has supervised the work of several Ph.D. students. She has been Member of the organization committee of the International Conference Trends in Nanotechnology for six years (2001–2006), and presently she is a Member of the Spanish network “NanoSpain.” She works often as a referee in several journals of IOP Publishing (UK) and she collaborates with the Spanish Agency (ANEP) to evaluate research projects. Her research interest is focused on theoretical aspects in semiconductor nanostructures such as optical properties, growth mechanisms, and polaron effects.
