Claver P. Bhunu received his B.S. degree with honors (1999) and M.S. degree (2001) in mathematics from the University of Zimbabwe, Harare, and Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe, 2010. He has worked as a lecturer at Great Zimbabwe University (from 2003 to June 2006); Research Fellow at the National University of Science and Technology (from July 2006 to 2010); lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe (from January to March 2011); Associate Professor, University of Zimbabwe (April 2011 to December 2012); Professor at the University of Zimbabwe (from January 2013 to the time being). He was a Visiting Fellow and Professor at Cambridge Infectious Disease Consortium (2010) and University of Venda (2012), respectively. He is a Life Member of the Clare Hall College, University of Cambridge. His research interests lie in the field of mathematical biology as well as the theoretical analysis of the mathematical models that arise in all these applications. He has over 56 publications in the field of mathematical biology.
