Pedro Albajar Viñas

Pedro Albajar Viñas, holder of M.D., DTM&H, M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, is Medical Officer at the World Health Organization Department of Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases, in charge of the Program on Control of Chagas Disease. His areas of expertise include neglected tropical diseases, in general, with focus on Chagas disease. Additionally, migration and health, coinfection/morbidity and access to healthcare. Annually, more than four indexed papers, a couple of technical reports and chapters of books, a couple of collaborations in other technical publications, and more than ten participations and presentations in meetings and congresses. Viñas is Guest Professor of some Latin American and European universities.
