Amoakoh Gyasi-Agyei

Amoakoh Gyasi-Agyei is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT), Penetecost University College, Ghana. He graduated with the Ph.D. degree from Adelaide University, Australia, in communications engineering and computer networking. He also holds the M.S. (engineering) degree in electronic communications engineering and technology from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and undergraduate degree in electrical/electronic engineering from Hamburg-Harburg University of Technology (TUHH), Germany. Moreover, he has lived and worked in several countries, including Ghana, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Singapore, South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia. He has experience from some renown industries and academic institutions, such as Ericsson and Philips. He has consulted with industries, including BHP Billiton mines and Mackay Sugar in Australia. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He served as the Treasurer for the IEEE Queensland Section in January 2004 to December 2006. He is a registered professional engineer with the UK Engineering Council through the IET (formally, The IEE). In addition, he founded the IEEE Student Branch at the Central Queensland University, Australia. He has hosted several distinguished academics in his university with part of his research grant and has established many interesting things, including the International Conference on Adaptive Science and Technology (ICAST) with website at http://home.vicnet.net.au/~icastdn/ for which he serves as the standing General Organizing Chair. He is a Member of the Editorial Board for Hindawi Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering and African Journal of Information & Communications Technology (AJICT) and a referee for several international periodicals and conferences.
