Michele Rebesco

Michele Rebesco born in Bussolengo, Verona, Italy, on March 1 1964. He obtained his scientific high school certificate from Liceo (Don Bosco), Verona, Italy, in 1983. He obtained his M.S. degree in geological sciences, University of Parma, Parma, Italy, in 1989. His thesis is on structural-geological survey of the high Lessini between Adige River and Squaranto Valley. he got his Ph.D. degree in earth sciences, university of Parma in 1996). He also conducted a thesis on The Sediment Drifts of the Pacific Margin of the Antarctic Peninsula "Seismo-stratigraphic analysis of the continental rise". His current position is a Senior researcher at Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS), in Sgonico, Trieste, Italy. His main interest is the sedimentary processes and glacial history on the high latitude continental margins. His areas of expertise include earth and planetary sciences, environmental science engineering, agricultural, and biological sciences.
