Thomas Wise
User Biography : Prof Thomas Wise Dr. Thomas N. Wise is Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Associate Chairman and Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University School of Medicine and Chairman of Psychiatry at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church Virginia. Dr. Wise graduated from Dartmouth College and Duke University School of Medicine. He is editor of Advances in Psychosomatic Medicine. He was editor of Psychosomatics for two decades. He Chairs the APA Council on Psychosomatic Medicine and is a member of the American Psychiatric Press editorial board. Dr. Wise has authored or co authored over 300 papers or textbook chapters. He is Certified in both General Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. He is co editor of Psychiatry for Primary Care Physicians now in its second edition.
