Mustafa Kemal Apalak

Mustafa Kemal Apalak was graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey, where he is a Professor of applied mechanics. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in applied mechanics in mechanical engineering from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK. Apalak is the Dean of Aeronautical and Space Sciences Faculty. His areas of interests include solid mechanics, functionally graded materials, vibration, wave propagation, impact, adhesive joints, layered and metal matrix composites, thermal stresses, finite element method, and finite difference method. He is a reviewer in more than twenty journals and an Advisory Board Member of J. Adhesion Science and Technology and International Journal of Adhesion and Adhesives.
