Mustafa Kemal Apalak

Mustafa Kemal Apalak is a Professor of applied mechanics, graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey. He had his Ph.D. degree of applied mechanics in mechanical engineering from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK. Apalak is the Dean of Aeronautical and Space Sciences Faculty. His area of interests include solid mechanics, functionally graded materials, vibration, wave propagation, impact, adhesive joints, layered and metal matrix composites, thermal stresses, finite element method, and finite difference method. He is a reviewer in more than twenty journals and an Advisory Board Member of J. Adhesion Science and Technology.
