Chenchen Wang

Chenchen Wang, holder of M.D. and M.S. degrees, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Wang is also a research rheumatologist and scientific staff at the Division of Rheumatology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She completed her rheumatology and clinical epidemiology training at McGill University in 1999. Her research is concerned with epidemiological and clinical studies of complementary and alternative medicine and their treatment in chronic conditions, especially osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Currently, she serves as a Principal Investigator on a number of NIH-funded clinical trials evaluating Tai Chi mind-body therapies/exercise on chronic rheumatic conditions and has published extensively in this field.
