Heng Jiang

Dr Heng Jiang, professor of Chemistry, School of Chemistry and Material Science, Liaoning Shihua University, China, earned his BS and MS (Chemistry sciences, 1986-1993) from Liaoning Normal University, China; PhD (Organic Chemistry, 1993-1996) from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. After getting his PhD, he served as an assistant professor in Fushun Petroleum Institute (1996-1999). In 2000, he moved to Department of Chemical Engineering, Dalhousie University as a scientist. In 2001, Dr Jiang got his current professor position in Liaoning Shihua University. The major research interests of Dr Jiang include green chemistry and catalysis, low temperature solid-state reaction, and heterogeneous photocatalyst materials.
