Ingemar Turesson holds both M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He is an Associated Professor at the Univeristy of Lund, Sweden, and a specialist in hematology and internal medicine at the Department of Hematology, Skane University Hospital, Malmö, Sweden. He has more than 30-year experience of caring for patients with various hematologic disorders. His main scientific interest is in multiple myeloma, monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS), and related disorders. He has published 101 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and is a member of the International Myeloma Working Group and the Nordic Myeloma Study Group.
