Hai-Wen Ge

Hai-Wen Ge received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the Heidelberg University, Heidelberg, Germany, in 2006, and he received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in thermophysics engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He worked as a Research Associate at the Engine Research Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2010. He is currently an engineer at ESI Mindware Inc. (on site: Ford Motor Company). His research interests include probability density function method, turbulent combustion, multiphase flow, internal combustion engine, computational optimization, engine scaling, parallel computing, Monte-Carlo method, level-set method, large-eddy simulation, mathematical analysis of reactive system, efficient computation using detailed chemistry, and computational fluid dynamics. Ge is a member of SAE, ASME, Combustion Institute, and ILASS. Dr. Ge published one monograph, one book chapter, more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, and more than 20 conference papers.
