Zoltán Kónya received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Szeged, Hungary (1997). His research interests include inorganic nanostructures, synthesis procedures, spectroscopy and microscopy. Currently he is working on two main fields, one is the synthesis and modifications of new 0-D and 1-D nanostructures for (photo)catalytic applications, the other is the possible environmental applications of nanostructures. He is the co-author of more than 200 peer reviewed papers with cumulative impact factor of ~390 and he has ~3400 independent citations (H-index is 32).
