Noël Challamel

Noël Challamel was born in1971 in Paris, France. He received the M.S. degree in mechanics and civil Engineering in 1995. He got the Ph.D. degree in 1999 from Mines PariTech, Paris, France. In 2000, he was appointed as a Research Engineer at Gaz de France, and in 2001, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at INSA de Rennes. Challamel holds the Habilitation to conduct Researches, since 2007. In 2011, he was appointed as a Professor at the University of South Brittany. Challamel has more than 80 articles published in international journals. He is the Chairman of the Stability Committee, ASCE; Member of Scientific Committee, MIM, Hermes Lavoisier, ISTE Wiley; Associate Editor of the Journal of Engineering mechanics (ASCE); Member of ASCE, IPACS, AUM and AUGC. He is has coauthored Carbon Nanotubes and Nanosensors: Vibrations, Buckling and Ballistic impact, Wiley - ISTE.
