William W. Cooper

W. W. Cooper serves as a Foster Parker Professor (emeritus) of finance, management, and accounting as well as a Nadya Kozmetsky Scott Centennial Fellow and Janie Slaughter Briscoe Fellow at the IC2 Institute, all at the Red McCombs School of Business in the University of Texas at Austin, Tex, USA. He authored or coauthored 25 books and 538 scientific-professional articles, one of which serves as the basis for more modern versions of data envelopment analysis (DEA). His research interests are among the initiating publication. He has also been active, professionally, in similar faculty positions at the Universities of Chicago and Harvard as well as the deanship at Carnegie Mellon University.
