Yongfei Xia received the M.S. degree from Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, China, and the Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai, China, all in applied mathematics, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. From March 2004 to January 2009, he was with Fuzhou University. In January 2009, he joined the Department of Mathematics, Zhejiang Normal University, Zhejiang, China. From October 2007 to January 2008, he was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Information Systems, York University, Toronto, Canada. He is currently a Professor at the Zhejiang Normal University. Prior to this, he worked as an Associated Professor at Fuzhou University from 1996 to 2000. Xia is the author or coauthor of more than 60 journal papers such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Network, SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, Journal of Differential Equations, Proceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applocations, Nonlinear Dynamics, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, and Nerocomputing. He is a Reviewer of Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt-Math. His research interests include nonlinear systems, neural networks, complex systems and complex networks, stability theory, and applied mathematics.
