Vineet Bhandari is the recipient of the M.B.B.S., M.D., and D.M. degrees. He is an Associate Professor of pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences and Director of the Perinatal Research program at the Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Conn, USA and an Attending Neonatologist at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital in the USA. He did his medical school training at the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India followed by pediatric and neonatology training from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India and the University of Connecticut, Conn, USA. Bhandari has edited a book Manual of Neonatology and authored 235 book chapters, original research articles, and abstracts. He is serving as an editorial board member for 9 journals and an Ad Hoc Reviewer for 65 journals. Bhandari's research interests include pulmonary developmental biology and hyperoxia-induced lung injury.
