Nicola Mastronardi

Nicola Mastronardi received the degree in computer science from the University of Bari, Italy, in 1990 and the Doctoral degree in applied sciences from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, in 2001. He was an Assistant Professor of numerical analysis at University of Basilicata, Italy (1994–1998), an Assistant Researcher at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (1999–2001). Since 2002, he has been with the Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Italy, as a Senior Researcher (2002–2006) and as Research Director in Applied Mathematics since 2007. He is an Associate Editor of some journals in numerical analysis. His main interests lie in the area of numerical linear algebra.
