Xing Li received the Ph.D. degree from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM), Fuzhou, China, in July 2004. He began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in FJIRSM and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In December 2005, he joined the Faculty of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Ningbo University, and he was promoted to an Associate Professor in September 2008. Li has been active in academia. He was sponsored by the “Qianjiang Talent” programs of Zhejiang Province and the New Century “151 Talent Projects” (the 3rd level) of Zhejiang Province. He joined the editorial board of the Global Journal of Inorganic Chemistry in March 2010. He has published more than 60 SCI papers on various topics, including crystal growth and design, materials letters, thin solid films, and micro- and mesoporous materials.
