Russell K. Laros Jr. received his B.A. degree from Harvard University in Cambridge and his M.S. and M.D. degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia, Penn, USA. His rotating internship was served at Philadelphia General Hospital, his residency was in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia, and his fellowship in hematology at the Simpson Memorial Institute, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich, USA. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal and fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been a Faculty Member at the University of Michigan and at the University of California, San Francisco, Calif, USA, where he is currently a Professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences. He serves as a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy, the Journal of the American Medical Association, the New England Journal of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Journal of Perinatology. He is a Member of the American Collage of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Maternal and Fetal Medicine, the Central Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
